Who we are
The Paint Pottle is a paint-your-own-pottery and ceramic art studio run by Claire Webb, inside The Village, 65 St Mary’s Road, Market Harborough. We’re responsible for any personal information you give us.

What this website collects
Nothing. There are no forms, accounts or comments on this website, and it doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts, pictures and map are served from the website itself, so your browser doesn’t contact any other company’s servers while you read it.
The “Book a table” planner doesn’t send us anything either. Choosing a day, a session and the number of painters only writes an email for you to send from your own email app, or copies the message for you to paste into a text.
Our website host
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare’s servers receive technical details such as your IP address and browser type when they send you a page, and use them to deliver the site and keep it secure. You can read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
When you call, text or email us
The Call, Text and Email buttons open your own phone or email app, and your message comes straight to the studio. We use your name, number or email address, and anything else you tell us, to reply and to arrange your visit, party or booking.
When you paint with us, “we’ll take a phone number so we can text or call you when your finished Pottle is ready for collection.”
Why we can use your details
Replying to you and arranging what you’ve asked for are steps you’ve asked us to take before a booking, and telling you your pottery is ready for collection is part of the booking itself. That’s what allows us to use your details: data protection law calls it the “contract” basis.
How long we keep your details
Only for as long as we need them to arrange your visit, party or booking and to follow it up.
Buying online
Gift cards, workshops, the have-a-go wheel session and Pizza & Pottery deposits are sold through our online shop at www.thepaintpottle.co.uk, which runs on Wix. When you follow a link to it, you leave this website. The shop handles your order and payment, and it sets its own cookies.
Other websites
We link to other websites, such as Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and The Village. They’re run by other organisations, with their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Just call, text or email Claire.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator.
Changes to this notice
If anything here changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
